Subaru Love Pets Adoption

Wilde Subaru has partnered with HAWS (Humane Animals Welfare Society) for the "Subaru Love Pets Adoption" program. Through this initiative, we work with HAWS to help shelter animals find their forever homes. Subaru is the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA and is dedicated to improving the lives of pets through adoption events, grants to local shelters, and more. Subaru has donated over $51 million to animal welfare organizations since 2008 and has helped with the adoption, rescue, and health of over 420,000 animals.

In October, Subaru dealers across the nation will donate over $3 million to animal shelters to help cover costs like preparing pets for adoption and veterinary care. Participating Subaru retailers will also host pet adoption events and raise awareness for animals in need. You can make a difference by adopting a shelter pet or an "Underdog" - an older or disabled dog who needs some extra love.

The "Subaru Love Pets Adoption" program goes beyond just hosting adoption events. Subaru of America, Inc. provides grants to animal welfare organizations across the country to support their work in caring for and finding homes for pets. These grants help cover expenses such as veterinary care, spay/neuter services, and shelter improvements.

In addition to financial support, Subaru retailers also collect and donate essential pet supplies, such as food, beds, and toys, to local animal shelters. This helps ensure that shelter pets have the necessary care and comfort while they wait for their forever homes.

By participating in the "Subaru Love Pets Adoption" program, Wilde Subaru aims to make a significant impact on the lives of animals in our community. We encourage individuals to consider adopting a shelter pet and giving them a loving home. If you're not ready to adopt, you can still support the cause by volunteering at local animal shelters or donating supplies.


Subaru "Loves to Help" Event

Each year, Wilde Subaru holds the "Loves to Help" event as part of the Subaru Love Promise. This event brought together Subaru staff, retailers, and local organizations to make a positive impact through volunteer projects. This year, Wilde Subaru donated 250 shoes and jackets to kids in need. In the past, we've worked with groups like Meals on Wheels to deliver food to seniors, cleaned up local parks and trails, and much more.

Donations to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County

Wilde Subaru Helps Raise Money for the Food Pantry of Waukesha County! As you know, Subaru of America has partnered with Feeding America to help address the issue of hunger in the US. Each holiday season, Subaru announces the Share the Love event that allows dealerships to choose a local charity to give funds to. For 2016, Subaru donated $250 to four national charities or a pre-approved Hometown Charity designated by the purchaser or lessee, up to $15,000,000 in total. For the third year, we chose the Food Pantry of Waukesha County as our hometown charity and we donated an extra $50 for each sold or leased vehicle, up to $7,500 total.

With your help, we were able to raise an amazing $46,001 for our Hometown Charity. Thank you to everyone who purchased or leased a car. We know this donation will go to help the local hungry and we look forward to raising money again this holiday season. According to their website, "We started humbly in 1978 in the basement of a volunteer's home, but we now serve over 5,700 residents a month and foster compassion and hope throughout the community. Waukesha is Wisconsin's third most populated county, and the number is only growing, meaning we receive new clients every day. In addition to food, we provide goods and services, and we work with clients to make them more self-sufficient. Our clients are mostly children, working poor and people who have fallen under tough times, and we work to improve their conditions, one person at a time."
